Heenal Rajani is a social entrepreneur, facilitator, dad, step-dad and poet, who sees the silver lining in every cloud. Alongside his wife, Kara, Heenal is the co-founder of Reimagine Co, a package-free grocery store and community hub in downtown London, Ontario. Born in England and educated at Oxford, Heenal was a public servant and union convenor before setting off to travel the world, visiting 60 countries before settling in Canada in 2017.
A director of the London Environmental Network, Heenal is dedicated to making London one of the greenest and most resilient cities in Canada, and received London Inc magazine’s “20 Under 40” award in 2020. Committed to climate justice, activism and placemaking, Heenal has co-organized festivals of community participation including 100 in 1 Day, City of Neighbours Day, Place Matters, EarthFest, and Belonging. His interests include biking, running, swimming, dancing, nature, travel, web3 and DAOs.
