First-Year Student Communications Pilot

We want to improve communication with Indigenous students who have been newly admitted to the College of Arts and Science ahead of their first term (Fall 2023). Our goal is to initiate a communication pilot that will include a phone call campaign to share information about Indigenous Student Achievement Pathways (ISAP) Summer Start programming, Arts and Science Orientation, and to connect students who have questions to effective resources. The selected student will play a key role in developing a transcript for phone calls, complete between 200-300 phone calls, and record commonly asked questions to develop an FAQ resource to guide a renewed first year communications strategy for Indigenous learners.
