Including drafting and developing HR policies, procedures, onboarding, employee development plans, and improving the employee handbook. The desired outcome of the project and Whistler Creative's HR strategy is to ensure each team member in the organization feels welcomed, respected, supported, and valued. Whistler Creative is a boutique creative design studio based in Whistler, British Columbia, founded by graphic designer Ruth Barrow. Ruth has over 15 years of professional industry experience, working with a variety of organizations and project types for both print and online. At Whistler Creative are known for our creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, exceeding expectations and collaboration, with a vision to lead, teach and inspire. At Whistler Creative, we are passionate about helping local businesses, local causes and positive environmental impact through our work, we do this through a variety of 'Giving Back' initiatives, including donating design hours to non-profits, running monthly innovative promotions, educating clients on the best environmental design and printing choices plus more. HR Policy drafting and auditing (including hiring policies, discrimination, harassment, and conflict resolution policies and a remote work health & safety policy.
