Generating Data sets - query building

Data analytic and big data are trending. Many universities and colleges need to teach their students how to use data analytic skills. This requires the availability of data sets. I am working on developing a web-based application that allows instructors to customize and create their own data sets. The application allows instructors to create a query to be applied on a data set. I need the team to provide a model for building queries that allow the instructor to build whatever query they want. The team has to understand that the instructor can use the data set that they want (which is unknown to us), so they have to think of a way to allow the model to be flexible as possible to allow the instructors to build the query that they want for their selected database. I have attached several alternatives of an open source code that could provide an insight of what I'm looking for. I will be working with the team explaining the concept in detail and brainstorming ideas with them.

Digital Content Creation - Newsletter for Email Marketing Activities

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The main project is to research and create content based on updates from the official Canada immigration website. Students will then turn such information into a newsletter to be circulated weekly to subscribers email. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Digital Communications Assistant

As an international organisation we are heavily reliant on web analytics to assess our reach and engagement. While we have made a start at developing a framework this needs to be piloted and improved and then the resulting learning actioned. This requires more time then our pressed team has at the present.

Integrated Geographic Base-map Compiler

The Main objective of this project is to create a methodology for integrating open datasets into dynamic mapping features that allow users to better understand how the world around them is layered in a geo-spatial sense. Students will be asked to create a system to collect, clean and organise open datasets from major municipalities in order to create a data rich data visualization and management microservice that can be displayed on a map or in tables with an object oreinted build. the tool should allow users to update and interact with datasets.
