Through this course, students demonstrate effective leadership skills and project management skills as they work with faculty and/or clinical mentors in health or educational settings to develop a specified project. Students contribute to the development of the project through a variety of methods, including engaging in research or quality improvement, policy development or development of educational materials. Collaboratively, with members of the interprofessional team, students work to support project goals across abroad range of healthcare service delivery models, including acute care, primary care, long-term care and community organizations. Dissemination of knowledge and project outcomes will occur at the conclusion of the project.
