Mobile App Design & Implementation for iOS and Google
Our current mobile app needs to be evaluated for functionality and improvements to both design and efficiency. The app allows customers to book their "GRAB" for various Airport locations. We'd like a full evaluation of the current code to ensure that it is working properly, and any improvements that could be made for the interactions between the User App, the Driver App, and the Admin Panel. We would like students to focus on: Evaluating the current App and assessing problems and functionality issues Selecting the best technologies for creating app improvements. Creating a better design and detailing the process of uploading an application to App Store and PlayStore, what it takes to maintain it, costs process, etc. A few areas of specific interest for us include: The reasoning behind technologies chosen. Documentation around models and attributes used to model any data. A brief wireframe or mock-up of the resulting system’s user interface. The product roadmap used to create the system and implementation plan including a list of user stories detailing all possible interactions with the system with the thought process and answers to the "why" questions. The source code for the system, preferably in a source control system such as Git or iOS and Google Play Store compatibility. A final presentation explaining our current app, functionality, usage, efficiency, etc., and what you built/improvements you made, what worked well, and what you would change.
Virtual Internship Opportunity: Business Administration
Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (5) students or teams. The primary focus for the student will be: Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our sales team; design a new/improved pricing or service structure. Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion); conduct an overhaul of our branding or communication strategy. Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign delivery/runner process when mobile app is not available; develop improvements processes to be more responsive to changes in demand; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes; redesign incentive structures to improve employee performance and engagement. Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for entering a new market; develop a go-to-market strategy for new products or services; identify new funding and grant opportunities and write proposals. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Sales - For the student(s) to help us roll out better prospecting that increases conversion rates and boosts our sales and sales team's performance. Marketing - For the student(s) to help us reach more customers and effectively promote our brand, mission, and story. Operations - For the student(s) to help us implement more efficient and effective processes that maximize employee performance and customer satisfaction. Strategy - For the student(s) to help us capture increased market share; for the student(s) to help us capture new revenue streams; for the student(s) to help us secure new partnerships and funding. Other duties the student may complete could include : B2B Outreach for company synergy. Conduct research and data analysis. Create presentation decks and assist with presentations to key stakeholders. Press Release & Blog Creation
We want to be recognized in our community and nationally for the work that we are doing. We have a great story to tell and want to help shape the travel experience for everyone in an affordable way, so we want and need it to be picked up by media outlets, bloggers influencers, etc. We need students to create press releases for us geared towards travel, hospitality, flight industry, single mothers, families, young adults, and business professionals. We'd also like fun original content for a blog and our email newsletters/email campaigns. The concept is Dear Abby/Lady Whistledown (Bridgerton reference) meets the travel industry, so we're looking for creative, talented, driven individuals, to execute our vision, while putting their own twist on it. The expectation is for you to bring your ideas to the table and spark consumer interest while improving our reach, audience, and overall interest in Grab My Bag, Inc. and the airport luggage delivery services we offer. Students should be prepared to: Help us refine our story to something compelling and news-worthy Write up press releases around multiple news-worthy stories Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to us/most likely to pick the story up Send press releases and establish positive rapport with media contacts Secure media exposure for our organization Create blog content for website/posting Create email content for email campaigns Create captivating content/captions for various mediums
SEO and Social Media Strategy
Number of students required to work in team: 4 teams of 2 students Grab My Bag , is a Luggage Delivery Service primed to disrupt the baggage claim process by delivering travelers checked bags from airport baggage claim to customer specified destination. Our team is looking for social media marketing wizards who can help us drive more traffic and improve our SEO positioning, while quickly spreading brand awareness making our company a household name and new norm. The primary project requirements include: Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization A strategy document to outline: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share 3. Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site 4. Creating engaging content for prominent media websites 5.
