AWS Backend Development

We would like students to help us implement an automation script bulk ingest CSV files to Amazon Dynamo DB. We are working on developing our prototype and will be ready to pilot our product by August. To complete the launch of our product, one of the task we need is to find a way to import menu into our database. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: be familiar with Amazon Dynamo DB, S3, CloudFormation can write AWS Lambda functions implement an automation script bulk ingest CSV files to Amazon Dynamo DB

Customer Discovery Research

We would like students to help us conduct research and better understand challenges restaurants are facing. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of the types of questions to be conducted and the summary report to be produced at the end of the project. Students are to generate leads and find restaurants to conduct research. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Conduct customer discovery interviews Record and transcribe each interview Create interview summary Analyze interviews and create segment comparison If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to help us conduct customer discovery interviews, then we'd love to hear from you. Graphic Design and Website Development

Apps Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We are working on developing two apps by the end of May. The first app is for restaurant patrons to browse menus and order food and the second app is for restaurant owners to accept orders and manage menu items. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Work with our Use Experience (UX) designer to complete the design an layout of the apps Create written content, videos and graphics for our apps Produce content that is innovative, on-brand, and engaging for our end users Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our website and apps that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Website Development

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating a multi-platform app for web, iOS and Android using Google’s Flutter development framework. Requirements: Knowledge and mobile development experience with Flutter Students should be prepared to: Build a fully-functioning user app with the guidance of our architect and senior backend developer. Implement new app modules based on the product requirements using Flutter framework Build user interfaces designed by UI / UX designer Build reusable code and libraries for future use Integrate internal APIs designed and implemented by our developers Collaborate closely with our of UI / UX designer, Scrum Master and other developers Participate in our agile ceremonies such as team demos, sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions Advantages: Work closely with very experienced architect and senior developer who have mentored many post-secondary computer science students/grads Gain experience at a start up company from ground up
